April 18, 2010 Lisa

Dear Family and Friends,

Just a quick post but many pictures to share. Joe achieved another milestone yesterday in getting to Stephen's track meet. His endurance is gradually increasing, and he was able to make it through Stephen's last (of 3 I believe) races, the 3200. I've included some pictures of Joe at the meet as well as some welcome home pictures. Love to all, Lisa

  6. I am awed to see these great photos of Joe "out & about" so soon after returning home. Being home obviously agrees with him :-) Ginny, your love & devotion shines through in such a beautiful way. May God continue to bless all of you.

  7. GOD IS GOOD!! How the family has known, felt and seen love and prayers poured out, Joe has only been told about it. It is different when he now can FEEL, SEE and be a part of that. Then to rise"from the ashes" to the gorgeous weather for "re-newed life!" Mass was great but seeing him come in brought tears to many eyes, who had loved and prayed fervently.

  14. I have been following your blog since the tragedy. I am amazed at how God is working through your family. I am friends with Tammy Wright-I teach at Rainbow Elementary, and we were coworkers. She sent the blog to a lot of her friends asking us to pray for your family. I was already touched by tragedy with the shooting at Discovery in my own school system, so this really was an additional shock to me when a similar event happened again in our community at UAH. I have been praying for you and lifting up the families of the other victims. God has truly blessed your family, and He is using you through your amazing witness. I just wanted to take the time to say you are loved by people who have never even met you, and you are fighting the good fight and charging on. Thank you for that from the bottom of my heart, and may God continue to bless you in abundance. Angela Bennett
